Participation in consumer travel and tourism exhibitions :
  • Salon du tourisme Mahana Toulouse: After a first participation in 2009, JTB France will attend the major consumer travel and tourism exhibition Mahana Lyon in Toulouse. The exhibition welcomes each year nearly 22, 000 unique visitors and 270 exhibitors. JTB will occupy a stand of 18sqm, shared with three TO partners: Amplitudes, La Balaguère and STI Voyages. Animations such as a photo animation and a competition will be organized to create traffic on the stand and attract visitors.
  • Salon du Tourisme Tourissima Lille: After a successful participation in 2011, JTB France will attend again the major consumer travel and tourism exhibition of the north of France: Tourissima Lille. The exhibition welcomed last year 21 828 unique visitors and 406 exhibitors. JTB will share its stand with two TO partners: Aya Désirs d’Orients et des Îles and La Vallée de la Lune. Animations such as a photo animation and a competition to win a trip for 2 to Jordan will also be organized to create traffic on the stand and attract visitors.


  • Salon du Tourisme Mahana Lyon: For the first time this year, JTB will participate to the major consumer travel and tourism exhibition Mahana in Lyon. The exhibition is the leading consumer fair dedicated to travel and tourism in the south-east of France. It is mainly visited by high-end consumers with high purchasing power and welcomes each year over 27,000 visitors and 270 exhibitors. JTB will share its stand with two TO partners: Aya Désirs d’Orients et des Îles and La Française des Circuits.
   
B2B advertising campaign with STI Voyages: JTB France will support the JORDAN communication of the top-selling TO STI Voyages on the French market. With 99% of its products sold through travel agents, STI Voyages will initiate a Jordan-dedicated communication in leading B2B print and online media such as Tourmag.com, Le Quotidien du tourisme, L’Echo touristique and La Quotidienne-B2B Le Mag. The advertising will focus on promoting Jordan special offers in order to encourage travel agents to sell the destination.
   
B2C Advertising campaign with Amplitudes: JTB will launch a joint communication campaign with the TO Amplitudes to promote special offers to Jordan in consumer print magazines. After a successful billboard campaign at the Airport of Toulouse during 2 weeks from December 13th to 26th, JTB and the TO will launch a print advertising campaign in the regional editions of the magazines Elle, Le Figaro Magazine and Le Figaro Madame to promote a special offer trip to Jordan including a discount. The special offer will be available until the month of March 2012.
