  • ARCHEO: promotional campaign dedicated to Petra 2012 and historical sites in Jordan on one of the best historical Italian magazine. Circulation: 65,000

Online Campaign:
  • www.repubblica.it: one month campaign to promote Jordan on one of the most important editorial group websites. Circulation/Page views: 5,000,000.
  • TUI.IT: the second part of the campaign with TUI.IT with a contest to win a trip to Jordan on one of the most important international travel portals. Page views: 4,000,000.
  • www.leiweb.it www.corriere.it: one month campaign and contest to promote Jordan on one of the most important editorial group websites. Page views: 5,000,000.

  • La Repubblica: 1 page article. Turistic reportage for the most important tourism page on an Italian newspaper. Circulation: 1,857,000.
  • Grazia and ELLE Italy: Report on food, fashion and tourism. Circulation: 540.000/657.000.

Jordan Presentation :
  • To present Jordan to travel agencies (lunch time) and to final consumers (evening) in two of the richest cities in Italy. JTB Italy, in collaboration with Il Tucano Viaggi e Riceca TO, will organise two Jordan presentations in Bologna and Trieste, with video, speech, brochure and gadget distribution to promote the Hashemite Kingdom and encourage new departures in fall 2012 and 2013.

Exhibitions and events :
  • Business lunches: Co-partnership with Best Tours/Kuoni in October and November (dates postponed by TOs). Objective is to meet face to face the local top travel agencies with one of the leading TOs on the destination and have a global presentation of Jordan with direct approach. The first appointment of the five business lunches dedicated to Jordan organised in partnership with the leading TO Best Tours for the top travel agencies based in this area. The event will be concentrated in a wide presentation of Jordan by JTB and Jordan tours by Best Tours/Kuoni. Fundamental will be to inform the TAs that Jordan is different compared to the other ME countries, safe and quiet.
  • TTG Incontri: In Rimini 18-19 October. This year JTB will attend the TTG Incontri of Rimini as visitor (stand cancelled for lack of co-exhibitors) to meet the tour operators and the travel agencies and make business as usual.
  • Travel Literature Festival: To present Jordan in the Italian Capital to final consumers using the photo database of Unveiled Jordan (held in Milan in Autumn 2009) in occasion of the Festival of the travel literature that will be held in Rome. The photo exhibition will be showed from September 29th to October 12th. JTB Italy. JTB Italy will have and Jordan info point during the Festival for the distribution of brochures and information will be present during the press conference on September 27th and during the Photo exhibition inauguration on September 29th. The Jordan photo exhibition called “Crossing Jordan) will be showed from September 29th to October 12th at Villa Celimontana in the hearth of Rome. JTB Italy will have a info point during the Travel Literature Festival that will held from Sept 27 to 30 with thousand of participants, meetings, conferences and events dedicated to the travel literature.
  • JTB presentation at Eden workshops: JTB will attend the 2 days of Eden workshops in Pesaro, event dedicated to the travel agents coming throughout Italy, with an attendance of 70-80 agents for each session. JTB will present the destination and all the attractions with video, slides, distribution of info-material and direct speech by JTB.
  • Luoghi e Cammini della Fede in Brescia: The sole religious fair organised in Italy to promote Jordan. In attendance are priests, religious leaders, deacons, tour operators, and travel agents specialised in pilgrimage. JTB Italy will attend the religious fair Luoghi e Cammini della Fede that will take place in Brescia on November 30th at Paolo VI congress centre with the participation of the most important religious players. JTB will have a dedicated stand to promote Jordan not only as cultural, religious and pilgrimage destination.

FAM trips:
  • CRALs and Cultural Associations: In the project to diversify the segments JTB to expand the Jordan promotion to cultural associations and CRALs (Private and public companies for free time and cultural events) with thousands of members interested in travels and cultural events. Organisation of a FAM trip for 13 CRALs and cultural associations in Jordan from October 25th to October 31st, with departure from Milan Malpensa. The Jordan tour will touch the most important attractions of the Hashemita Kingdom and will emphasize the beauties of Jordan in order to convince the participants to promote Jordan into their cultural association right after the FAM trip.
  • Religious TOs: In the project to diversify the segments JTB takes into great consideration the religious market and for the second year will organise a fam trip for religious leaders, product managers and TO’s decision makers to show the new services dedicated to this niche. Organisation of a FAM trip for 4-6 religious TOs at the end of November with departures from Rome or Milan (It depends on the TOs provenience). The FAM trip will be focused on religious (Bethany, Mount Nebo, Madaba, Dead Sea) and cultural attractions of Jordan to increase pilgrimage, spiritual and cultural travels in Jordan.
