  • NTA’s Annual Convention (Jan. 20-24, 2013): Held in Orlando, FL. The National Tour Association's (NTA) annual all-member Convention brings together the most diverse group of buyers and sellers of any travel industry show. With its all-inclusive format and proven business-building design, NTA's Convention has been described as "a business meeting extraordinaire, designed to maximize the opportunities for networking." JTBNA will participate in the Faith-Based Tourism Leaders forum and the Family Travel & Adventure Leaders Forum, as well as meet one-on-one with members interested in expanding or developing Jordan programs. Attendance: Travel Trade (NTA Members only) & Travel Trade Media.
  • Educational Travel Conference (Jan. 23-27): Held in Orlando, FL, The Educational Travel Conference (ETC) brings together all of the key and established operators, destinations, and suppliers serving the alumni, museum, and nonprofit travel market. The opportunity to meet with business partners from all corners of the world, at one time, under one roof, within the International Bazaar—"networking central"—is one of ETC's great time efficiencies. More than 300 well profiled U.S. tour operators, travel suppliers, in-country foreign operators, and destinations that understand the marketing and programming and price points required for a diverse range of nonprofit travel programs are represented at the ETC. It is the world’s only travel industry meeting to bring this exclusive group of professionals together, under one roof, for several packed days of outstanding educational sessions, keynotes, and collegial roundtables designed to address a variety of critical and timely topics, as well as skills workshops, networking opportunities, and special events. A major focus is on product development, particularly in the areas of cultural, as well as conservation-related, customized itineraries. Attendance: for Travel Trade (ETC Members only) & Travel Trade Media.
  • Religious Conference Management Association (RCMA) Emerge Conference: Held in Minneapolis, MN. Representing 800 diverse religious organizations, RCMA members are responsible for planning 14,000 conventions, meetings, assemblies, retreats and cruises, which annually attract more than 11 million participants. JTBNA will sponsor and exhibit to increase awareness of Jordan – particularly the Dead Sea area – as a compelling, authentic location for Christian Meeting & Conference Planners. Emphasis will be on the unique opportunities that the Dead Sea offers Christian conferences and retreats. Attendance: 200-250 meeting planners (vendors not included in attendance).
  • Jordan’s Hidden Adventures (Jan. 30th): Held in Toronto, ON. This event will give Jordan an opportunity to showcase adventure travel in Jordan to adventure enthusiasts based in the Toronto area by launching a new and updated exciting adventure video recently filmed by Outpost in November 2012. The second part of the event is a trade session where JTBNA will be meeting with an expected 100 agents from the Toronto area to learn about the Adventure Jordan product and to connect with Tour Operators that offer adventure products to Jordan. The JTBNA tea and Outpost are the official hosts. Attendance: Approximately 300 guests.
