Coop Marketing/ Trade activities:
  • Coop Marketing: May 2013, coop- advertising in Lonely Planet Traveler magazine, Lonely Planet traveler has an article about Jordan in the next issue. A coop-advertisement is planned for this. TO partner tbc.
  • Coop Marketing: May 2013, advertising in the WORLD Insight costumer magazine. World Insight is a direct selling TO with small groups. “Lebe Deinen Traum: with a circulation of 80,000. A 4 pages article on Jordan will be enriched with and advertorial from JTB.
  • Trade Promotion: April/May 2013, monothematic Jordan E-Newsletter to travel agents in cooperation with TO partner DIAMIR Reisen.

Consumer marketing:
  • Print Campaign: 20th of April, Ad and Advertorial in the Katholische Sonntagzeitung in Germany, Ad and Advertorial in a weekly catholic newspaper to promote Jordan in general as a religious destination.
  • Print campaign: in May, Advertorial in aktiv & jung magazine on medical and wellness holidays in Jordan.

FAM trips:
  • Personal FAM trip for JTB Germany between April 20th- 27th. Personal familiarization trip for Lena and Ralf to get to know Jordan as a destination.

Exhibition or participation in events:
  • IMEX Frankfurt between May 21st-23rd. The Jordan Tourism Board will be represented at IMEX Frankfurt. IMEX in Frankfurt is a worldwide exhibition for incentive travel, meetings and events. It is providing business opportunities for exhibitors and buyers alike, with the hosted buyer program at the core of the show. The comprehensive free education program and the Vision initiatives are designed to challenge conventional industry thinking, stimulate innovation and address key industry issues.

Promotional activities with Tour Operators:
  • Tischler Reisen, window displays. Starting in April, valid for one year. Window display promotion for Jordan in cooperation with Tischler Reisen, 10 high-quality Jordan displays will be produce and sent out from Tischler every 4 weeks to another travel agency for their window decoration. This promotion will last for one year.

  • On-going PR work: Monthly press release/newsletter is sent out to inform the German media about relevant news and events in Jordan. Planned fior April and May 2013 are two releases dealing and promoting Jordan as family destinations and promoting latest development and news.
  • On-going Facebook and Social media activities: Followers receive daily information, news and events on the Germany speaking Facebook account. Photo contests, little raffles and further promotion activities will enrich the virility of the page and will attract new followers and fans.
