Press trips:
  • TV program: Marco Polo TV, a one hour episode focusing on Adventure in Jordan: Wadi Mujib trail and skydiving in Wadi Rum. Circulation: 800,000 daily.

Exhibition or Participation in events:
  • Jordan presentation: Sestri Levante, Jordan presentation for final consumer in collaboration with the TO Etnia Travel of Treviso and the Travel Agency La Fabbrica dei Viaggi of Sestri Levante, Attendance 70-80 customers. Format: Reception, distribution of Jordan brochures, Presentation by Marco Biazzetti of JTB Italy, Jordan Video, presentation of Jordan tours by Etnia Travel, buffet dinner at the end of the function, partnership free of charge among JTB-Etnia Travel TO and La Fabbrica dei Viaggi TA for the Jordan presentation in Sestri Levante on April 11th. Attendance: around 70-80 pax.
  • Exhibition: BMT of Naples, to meet with the Italian tour operators based in Southern and Central Italy not attending BIT Milan or TTG Incontri of Rimini. Meeting with TOs featuring Jordan and potentials to discuss on Jordan programs, new products, new itineraries, co-ops and Jordan promotion during the BMT of Naples. JTB will be there as a visitor.
  • Jordan presentation in Torino: Jordan presentation in collaboration with the TO Avventure nel Mondo. Format: Reception, distribution of Jordan brochures, presentation by Marco Biazzetti of JTB Italy, Jordan video, presentation of Jordan tours by Avventure nel Mondo. Partnership free of charge between JTB and Avventure nel Mondo for Jordan presentation in Turin on April 17th. Attendance: around 50-60 pax.

  • Sales calls: meeting with TOs featuring Jordan potentials in Italy to promote Jordan, to maintain good relationship with TOs, to encourage new programs and itineraries, to find new operators interesting in Jordan programming, to check chances of co-op for the promotion of Jordan to trade and consumer. Sales calls to TOs featuring Jordan and potential aimed to encourage to promote the Jordan attractions, to diversify Jordan with dynamic packages, to maintain active the destination with promotions, partnerships and marketing activities with JTB Italy
  • Shopping malls promotion: 7-8 shopping malls in Northern and Central Italy period: 4 malls in Spring and 4 in Autumn. Jordan photo exhibition located in the gallery, big pop up panel, an info point with a hostess and a fortune wheel to promote Jordan, distribute gadgets and information about the destination. Show to thousands of final clients the beauties of Jordan in the 8 of the biggest shopping malls in the North and Central Italy. One week each.
  • Lecce Tourism Film Festival: in Lecce Italy, co-partnership with TO 4 Winds for the participation ofJordan as special guest destination during the edition 2013 and for the organization of a workshop dedicated to TAs during the festival. Important to promote Jordan during the most important Tourism Film Festival organized in Italy with hundred of journalists and movie experts, consumers and travel agencies. Jordan will be the special guest of this event and a JTB movie will be shown during the Festival. Meeting with TOs and TAs during the workshop that will be held on June 21st.
  • Co-op: Co-partnership with the TO King Holidays for the launching of a Jordan weekly radio campaign and for the organization of a big workshop in Rome for the training of travel agencies. Jordan radio promotion for one week on the main Radio channel network Radio 24 + workshop dedicated to travel agencies in Rome to train the agents on how to sell Jordan in the best way.
  • Religious workshops and seminars: co-partnership with religious TO Brevivet for the organization of A) 2 seminars dedicated to Jordan for religious leaders and promoters, head of dioceses and priests. B) 4 workshops dedicated to the TAs training. Seminars: 3 hours of Jordan presentation including the religious tours proposed by Brevivet. Workshops 4 hours workshop dedicated to Jordan with slide, video. Attendance 50-60 travel agents, religious promoters and priest. The workshops will be followed by final ruffle (with journey in Jordan offered by Brevivet) and dinner for all the participants. Important to promote Jordan as religious and cultural destination in 2013 and to increase the pilgrimage in Jordan.
