Press trips:
  • Travel writers: publishing in daily newspapers and magazines in German part of Switzerland between 24-28 April. Coverage will include travel reports about Jordan in print media focusing on the “Golden Triangle” of Jordan including Aqaba, Wadi Rum and Petra in order to promote Aqaba as a beach holiday/family destination which can be combined with culture and adventure tourism. The total circulation of the invited media is around 500,000 copies.
   

Online Advertising:
  • Jordan banners, skyscrapers and content ads in major online travel related websites during April and May in Switzerland. Content Ad (300x250), Sky Scraper (160x600), Big Size banner (728x90). Jordan will be present on major travel related websites such as viamichelin.ch, hotels.ch, expedia.ch, urlaub.ch, map24.ch, etc…
   

Print Advertising:
  • Jordan image ad in Traveltip (German) On the 22nd of May in the German part of Switzerland featuring half a page with 121,000 copies circulating. Traveltip is one of the major Swiss consumer travel magazines and our Jordan image ad will reach over 200.000 readers in the German speaking part of Switzerland.
  • Jordan image ad in TRaveltip (French) on the 29th of May in the French part of Switzerland featuring half a page with 25,000 copies circulating. Traveltip is one of the major Swiss consumer travel magazines and our Jordan image ad will reach over 100.000 readers in the French speaking part of Switzerland.
   

Other:
  • Online co-op marketing: Google Adwords search engine optimization, during April and May. to place Jordan into the top 3 entries in the internet search engine machine, in coop with TO Amin Travel we want to optimize the position of Jordan on the Google search engine machine in order that consumers will find travel offer to Jordan of this particular TO already on the first three entries.
  • Window displays: Jordan window display campaign: in various travel agencies in Switzerland during April and May. In coop with TO Let’s Go Tours we are decorating the windows of selected travel agencies with Jordan images and travel offers. Specially decorated windows will create awareness of Jordan and attract customers.
  • Jordan FAM trip: Potential Tour Operator FAM trip in Jordan between 24-29 of May. To show Jordan to new and potential tour operators who are not yet working with Jordan but are interested to take up this destination into their program. JTB will organize a FAM trip for 4-6 potential Swiss tour operators, show them the diverse tourism product that Jordan has to offer as well as organize a workshop with local agencies..
