Print Advertising:
  • Special Jordan travel offer ad: ½ page ad, in coop with TO Reufa Reisen, published in “Grazetta” on June 1st. 29,000 copies circulated. Additional 3 ½ pages of PR about Jordan

Outdoor Advertising:
  • Megaboard campaign: in Vienna during April and May, there will be one huge mega billboard (40 m2) on the busiest highway in Vienna (A23) showing an attractive picture of Petra which is visible 24 hours because it is also illuminated at night. This location is able to generate up to 2.5 million contacts per month, this will create awareness to Jordan amongst the public.

Exhibition or participation in events:
  • Corps Touristique Road Show: trade road show in western Austria on the 17th – 20th of June, aiming to train the travel trade about the diverse tourism product of Jordan, as well as update them on new developments, trends, and events. Backed by the Corps Touristique Austria. Approximately 120 travel agents will be present.
  • Jordan presentation: coop marketing event in Vienna on the 25th of June to update the travel trade about Jordan and encourage them to sell. In cooperation with ROYAL JORDANIAN AIRLINES and KEMPINSKI HOTELS and TO PUR TOURISTIK we will organize a special Jordan evening for the travel trade in the new Kempinski Hotel in Vienna. Around 50 selected travel agents will be invited and we will do a Jordan presentation and inform them about Jordan’s tourism product.
  • Summer get-together: trade and press event in Vienna on the 2nd of July to strengthen the relations with the media and travel trade. In cooperation with Touristique Austria, we will participate in this annual get-together for the press and travel trade. There will be a multi-media presentation of Jordan and a special brochure with all destinations will be published for this event. Attendance for this event will include 300 people from the local media and travel trade.

  • Jordan FAM trip: potential Tour Operator FAM trip, for four potential Austrian tour operators, to Jordan from the 29th of May to the 3rd of June
  • Jordan Newsletter: An email newsletter will be sent from JTB during June and July to the trade in Austria to update and inform travel trade about news in Jordan. The email newsletter will reach 1,800 travel agents with an update of Jordan informing about new projects, developments, festivals and events during the coming months.
