Print Advertising:
  • Coop Marketing/Trade Activities:
    • Coop Marketing: July 2013, participation with the Dertour Ferne Länder Roadshow. 1 week tour through 5 German cities promoting Jordan in front of travel agent audience in cooperation with Dertour. The cities will be Dresden, Berlin, Hamburg, Dortmund and Frankfurt.
    • Trade Promotion: June 2013, monothematic Jordan mail newsletter to travel agencies in cooperation with FOXTours, promoting on several different trips to Jordan offered by FOXTours on different pages.
    • Trade Promotion: July to October 2013, in cooperation with Phoenix Reisen, Jordan flyers distributed to their travel agent partners promoting different Phoenix Reisen trips to Jordan.

Consumer Marketing:
  • Email newsletter: July 2013, coop email-newsletter with ASI (Alpinschule Innsbruck) to their direct clients. ASI will send out a Jordan-only newsletter promoting Jordan in general and their offered trip for New Year’s Eve in Jordan. Promotion of the trip also in the ASI client magazine ASI-Aktuell.
  • Print advertising: July 2013, coop-advertising in cooperation with DIAMIR Reisen in the supplement “Zeit Magazin” of the well- known German weekly newspaper “Die Zeit”, promoting a trip to Jordan with DIAMIR.

FAM Trips:
  • Agent FAM trip for JTB Germany from June 17th-24th. Familiarization trip for travel agents getting to know Jordan personally as a safe and well-established destination for their clients, and one that has everything to offer.

Promotional Activities with Tour Operators:
  • Tour mit Schanz: ten presentation evenings with different church communities in July, organized by biblical tour operator “Tour mit Schanz”, promoting Jordan as the perfect destination for biblical group trips. A Jordan guide will hold a presentation on the different sights in Jordan and attract the people to visit this country.

  • On-going PR work: Monthly press release is sent out to inform the German media about relevant news and events in Jordan. Planned for June and July are one release about cultural encounters in Jordan as well as one newsletter.
  • On-going Facebook and Social Media activities: Followers receive daily information, news and events on the Germany speaking Facebook account. Photo contests, little raffles and further promotion activities will enrich the virility of the page and will attract new followers and fans.
