Outdoor Advertising:
  • Megaboard campaign in Vienna during October and November. To create awareness of Jordan amongst the public. We will have one huge mega billboard (40 m2) on the busiest highway in Vienna (A23) showing an attractive picture of Petra which is visible 24 hours because it is also illuminated at night. This location is able to generate up to 2.5 million contacts per month.

Print Adverting
 
  • Medical Jordan ad in Medizin Popular on the 1st of October. Circulation 85.000. Covering 1/3 a page. We will place a medical ad about Jordan into this specialized medical magazine in order to create awareness of Jordan as a medical and wellness destination amongst readers and consumers.
  • Coop ad with special Jordan travel offer in News Reisen on the 29th of August. This will be one full page with 70.000 copies circulation. In cooperation with TO PUR Touristk we will place a special Jordan offer into this special bi-annual travel supplement of weekly news magazine. This travel supplement contains only selected destinations and Jordan will be one of them.

Exhibition or participation in events
 
  • Jordan Evening, a consumer event in Vienna on the 23rd of October. To push sales to Jordan to around 50 consumers. In coop with TO ARR Naturreisen we will organize a Jordan evening in Vienna for around 50 clients of this TO. We will do a Jordan presentation, serve typical Jordanian snacks and drinks and answer questions about Jordan in order to convince them that Jordan is a safe destination.
  • Corps Touristique workshops, a trade workshop located in Graz and Klagenfurt (southern region of Austria) on the 4th and 5th of November. It is important in order to update and train the regional travel trade about Jordan. There will be approx. 80 travel agents. This trade training under the roof of Corps Touristique Austra aims to update and train the travel trade about the diverse tourism product of Jordan.
  • Arabic Souk trade workshop in Vienna on the 12th of November. To update and train the travel trade about Jordan to approx. 200 travel agents. This specialized trade workshop for Middle East destinations will be held for the first time in Austria. It will provide compact information for travel agents about this specific area. Apart from Jordan there will be Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Oman participating in this workshop.
  • Reisesalon, a consumer travel fair in Vienna on the 22-24 of November. This event is important to show presence of Jordan as an exclusive destination and get into direct contact with end consumers. There will be 5.000 visitors. “Reisesalon” is an exclusive consumer travel fair taking place at the former Imperial headquarters of Vienna during 3 days and aims to show exclusive holiday destinations and products.
   
 
  • Religious press trip from the 25th-30th of September. To show Jordan’s religious segment to the media and to receive press coverage about it, JTB will organize a trip for 10 selected religious magazines/newspapers and radio to show them this specific tourism product.
  • Medical/Wellness press trip from the 25th-30th of September. To show Jordan’s medical/wellness segment to the media and to receive press coverage about it, JTB will organize a press trip with 5 selected medical/wellness magazines and newspapers to show them this specific tourism product.
  • Jordan supermarket promotion, sales promotion in 1000 supermarket outlets in Austria during July and August 2013. To increase sales to Jordan, in coop with TO Rewe Touristik we creates a special Jordan round trip offer which will be featured in the monthly special travel flyer which is distributed in 1000 supermarket outlets of major supermarket chain “Billa: Jordan will also be featured on the front page of the flyer.
