Print or Online Advertising:
  • Trade advertising with Treasury Travel in October. Treasury Travel and Royal Jordanian offer a price winning contest (win a trip to Jordan) in a popular woman magazine: santé Magazine. JTB agreed to pay for the airport tax to make this cooperation a success.

  • Trade Coop planned in October/November. New proposals are being collected, selected and approved. Petra coop package. We offer 10 TOOs a ‘Petra Coop Package’ Including: 50 free entrance tickets to the Petra Exposition in the Museum of Antiquities in Leiden, one room with presentation equipment and catering. Organizations that make use of this special Coop package: Djsoer, Drietour, Fox, ITG, Koning Aap, Labrys, Makor, D-Reizen, Sawade, Royal Jordanian, In return we of course receive promotion via newsletter, social media and via a deeplink on the website.
  • Trade coop D-Rezen: During the Petra exposition in Leiden, Travel Agency D-reizen will promote the exposition and (Istropa trips) to Jordan via posters in 200 of their travel agencies. When consumers buy a trip to Jordan with D-Reizen, they will receive entrance tickets to the Petra exposition for free.
  • Trade coop Fox Reizen, in October/ November. In September the JTB hosted a press trip with entertainment and cultural journalists covering the presentation of a new Family musical in the Netherlands. The theme of the new musical is Sand. Fairytale personality Klaas Vaak is looking for new sand to make children dream wonderful dreams. As a result of this cooperation with the largest family entertainment park called Efteling, we have arrange a trade coop with direct seller FOX reizen to push their family segment. They are the only tour operator that is allowed to offer special ‘Sandman trips’ to Jordan. They also receive 230 entrance tickets for the musical to give to consumers who booked the ‘Sandman trip’ to Jordan.
  • Outdoor advertising: national outdoor campaign- Petra exposition. National Outdoor campaign for Petra exposition with a large picture of Petra. Funded by RMO for a total budgey of 180.000 with 8.000 contributions from JTB: JTB logo.

On the 10th of October, there was a festive informal opening of the Petra Exposition in the Museum of Antiquities in Leiden (the Netherlands). With 1400 guests. Included: a guided tour through the museum, a Jordan market, readings and networking event.
  •  Petra exposition trade events organized by JTB: on the 23rd of October, trade event in RMO museum: 10 DMCs from Jordan and tour operators/ travel agents from The Netherlands. Speed dating concept. On the 24th of October, there was a MICE event in RMO museum: 10 DMCs from Jordan and MICE agencies from The Netherlands: speed dating concept. Enclosed in total Petra exposition marketing plans.

FAM Trips
 
  • Church leader FAM trip from the 6th to the 13th of November, in cooperation with the ITG group/ Makor Reizen. 16 church leaders will travel to Jordan. Total of 20 pax.

  • Price winning contests- Petra expo: between the 8th of October until the end of March 2013. For Petra exposition in the RMO museum in Leiden, we organized 10 won-a-trip-to Jordan contests. Ground program sponsored by tour operator Isropa, tickets by TJ. So far the following media are confirmed: - 1X Museumkaart (museumcard): newsletter will be sent to 380,000 readers). 1X Metra newspaper: online, facebook, twitter and print (6,000,000 readers). 1X Margriet.nl: 139,000 unique visitors.
  • o Monthly Press releases: write, issue and track press releases to keep Jordan ‘Top of mind’ in the BENELUX market. JTB Benelux writes and issues monthly press releases to be sent to a wide media list as well as the trade press contacts. Topic of press release depends on what’s happening at that moment.
  • Social Media releases. JTB BENELUX facebook page, TMC twitter and blog. To keep Jordan ‘Top of mind’ in the BENELUX market and crate followers: communicate, share and connect.
  • Trade Newsletter: write and issue trade newsletters to keep Jordan ‘Top of mind’ in the BENELUX trade market. JTB BENELUX writes and issues trade newsletters to be sent to a wide trade list as well as the trade press contacts.
