Print and online advertising:
  • A half page ad in the El Mundo Viajes publication on the 26th and 29th of October. Circulates to 233,101, with a readership of 1,818,000. Monthly travel supplement of daily general information newspaper.
  • A half page in the El Periodico – Destinos publication on the 26th of November. Circulates to 110,000 with a readership of 613,000. This is a Catalan monthly travel supplement of daily general information newspaper of Cataluña.
  • Banner and video banner including mobile, ad exchange. Online newspapers (El pais, La Vanguardia) also in mobile version. Financial newspapers (Expansion, El Economista), lifestyle, luxury, female sites and Youtube. Circulating and gaining 3,310,000 impressions. Covering premium sites with economical content, sports, news etc… The aim is to target by age and economic status, and to those who are travelling off season, December bridge and Christmas. We did a landing page with offers of the main OTA’s that sell Jordan. Furthermore, we will raffle a trip to Jordan for 2pax with BidTravel.

Exhibition or participation in events:
  • EIBTM in Barcelona. EIBTM is the leading global event for the MICE events and business travel industry. It will take place from November 19th – November 21st.

Press trips:

 
  • Travel writer and photographer from October 5th to October 10th from lonely planet. The outcome of the trip would be an article about Jordan landscapes, activities and local people. The focus of the trip will be Petra, Dead Sea, Wadi Rum and Red Sea. Meeting with local artists because the magazine used to include “portraits” of local people.
  • Travel writer + Photographer October 6ht- October 12th. Publishing in Tusdestinos.net. Circulating to 25,000 unique visitors per month. There will be two articles, two videos and several small videos about Jordan landscapes, sports activities. Focusing on Petra, Amman Citadel, Dead Sea, Wadi Rum, Red Sea, and Mujin Nature Reserve.
  • Handicapped travel writer and supporter 21-27 September, to be published in A SALTO DE MATA / VIAGEROS SIN LIMITE. Circulation (salto de mata): 119.273, (Viajeros sin limite): 149.009. Features showing Jordan as an accessible destination for handicapped people. Focusing on Petra, Dead Sea, Wadi Rum and Red Sea.
   

Other
  • Religious seminars and training seminars in Zaragoza on November 4th. This activity is important to present Jordan as a religious destination to preists.
  • MICE FAM trip with travel managers of the main Spanish companies. This is important to promote Jordan as a MICE destination. To show venues, hotels, activities to do with a MICE group in Jordan. The trip will take place on November 27th till December 1st. A tentative itinerary in 5 star hotels and VIP bus.
  • Religious Seminars in Zaragoza, to present Jordan as religious destination. Training seminars for priests.
